I actually survived my first full day of teaching!!!!

Unfortunately, there were a few slips along the way... I almost didn't have a lesson for the fourth grade kids because the teacher I replaced gave me the wrong book! She didn't realize it..The story I needed the students to read wasn't there. Luckily, my class was during the last period for the fourth grade and I had time to quickly come up with a lesson when I got the book.

Next, When I got to the 3rd grade class, I found out that the book they needed hadn't been brought to the classroom yet, so I improvised a lesson right on the spot.

Plus... I have to stop the second and fourth graders to stop calling me Mrs. Consunji!!! I have to keep telling them I'm not married and its just Ms. Consunji.

I still have to work on the discipline of some students..........
